What are PP woven bags?

PP woven bags (woven polypropylene bags) are industrial packaging bags made from polypropylene tapes that are extruded, stretched for tensile strength, and woven into fabric on circular looms.

Strong for their weight, moisture- and tear-resistant, and economical at scale, woven polypropylene sacks are the world's standard packaging for grain, feed, fertilizer, cement and other bulk goods.

Why choose woven polypropylene

  • High tensile strengthStretched PP tapes give a strength-to-weight ratio far beyond paper or film.
  • Lightweight & economicalLow material weight cuts shipping cost per bag.
  • Moisture & chemical resistantPolypropylene resists damp, oils and most chemicals; add lamination for full protection.
  • Tear & abrasion resistantThe woven structure stops punctures from spreading during rough handling.
  • UV-stabilized optionsUV treatment for bags stored or used outdoors.
  • Reusable & recyclablePP is a mono-material that recycles cleanly and stands up to reuse.

How PP woven bags are made

The exact five-stage process running in our own factory — see it in the film and photos on this page.

  1. Tape extrusionPP granules are melted and extruded into film, then slit into flat tapes.
  2. StretchingTapes are stretched to align polymer chains, multiplying tensile strength.
  3. Circular weavingHigh-speed circular looms weave tapes into seamless tubular fabric.
  4. Lamination & printingOptional BOPP/PE lamination adds a moisture barrier and photo-quality print.
  5. Cutting, stitching & QCFabric is cut, stitched, fitted with gussets or liners, inspected and baled.

Types of PP woven bags we produce

From plain open-mouth sacks to valve and BOPP-laminated bags — each construction matched to your product, fill weight and filling line.

Open-mouth woven sacksThe workhorse bag — heat-cut or hemmed top, sewn after filling. For grain, rice, flour and feed.
BOPP laminated bagsGlossy or matte BOPP film with photo-quality multi-color print — a premium retail look for rice, seeds and pet food.
Valve (self-opening) bagsSelf-closing valve top for automated filling of cement, sand and powders — no stitching after filling.
Gusseted / block-bottom bagsSide or bottom gussets give a boxy shape, extra volume and stable pallet stacking.
PE-lined woven bagsAn inner polyethylene liner adds full moisture and fine-powder protection for hygroscopic goods.
UV-stabilized & anti-slip bagsUV treatment for outdoor storage plus optional anti-slip coating for secure, high stacking.

PP woven bags — FAQ

What's the difference between woven and non-woven PP bags?

Woven bags are made from interlaced stretched tapes — maximum strength for heavy goods. Non-woven bags are made from bonded PP fibers — softer and lighter, ideal for retail and promotional use. We manufacture both.

Can you print our logo and design?

Yes — multi-color printing is available, and BOPP-laminated bags support photo-quality artwork. Send us your design for a proof.

Do you supply in bulk?

Yes. With integrated production from tape extrusion to bag making plus large warehousing, we supply stable bulk volumes on schedule. Contact us for quotes and lead times.

Are PP woven bags recyclable?

Yes — polypropylene is a single, widely recycled material, and woven bags are strong enough to be reused many times before recycling.
